About Nur Speaks

Lynn Hoskins has been a registered nurse for the past 37 years and has a vast array of nursing experiences from birth to death, medical, and psycho-social. She began her quest with the love of women’s health issues from the early 70’s when the women’s liberation movement was taking hold along with the love for teens and their issues .

Very shy and quiet in her early years, she knew she wanted to teach. So she challenged herself initially doing one-on-ones with elementary students with reading then later to being a clinical instructor at CCD to get accustomed to talking a small group of students and over time felt excitement speaking more and more in front of groups.

Now, a retired nurse, Lynn focusses her attention on educating and enlightening individuals and groups on sexual health.
